“There’s a HERO at Your LIBRARY!”
Show
Join
David Moreland the Magician as he searches for heroes – everyday heroes, famous
heroes, and superheroes -- in our library. His high-energy 45-minute show blends
magic, puppetry, comedy, and audience participation, and culminates in a musical
melodrama skit -- starring children from the audience!
Let’s take over the town with some creativity and
sidewalk chalk. After, we will cool off in the library with root beer floats - appropriate
for 5th grade and up.

exciting wildlife education program where you will see a variety of native and
exotic wildlife. It’s fun for the whole family!

Learn how to create toys and sew "cage comforters" for pets. We will donate our creations to the local Humane Society. – appropriate
for 5th grade and up.
Fire Fighters

Walk with us to
the fire station and meet and learn about our local heroes. After the tour
we’ll enjoy a treat at the libray.

Super Hero-Themed Charms
Thursday, Aug. 6, 2:30-4:00 PM
Create shrink
plastic charms for unique jewelry – appropriate for 5th grade and
up.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Bring a stuffed animal
to the library, tuck them in and kiss them goodnight. After dark the animals
will enjoy a night of fun in the library. Come back on Saturday morning to see
what mischief they got into during the night!
