Summer Reading Programs

Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, summer is within reach!

Sign ups for our annual summer reading programs will be June 22-July 1. We have lots of fun activities planned for all ages, with prize drawings each week. Each child who signs up will receive a goody bag and have their picture taken for display.

Young readers will be encouraged to explore places all over the world, from Australia to Zimbabwe, in the books and stories recommended for this group.

What's For Dinner?

We have dozens and dozens of popular cookbooks in our collection.

Some are brand new.

Some are tried and true.

Yes! We have Martha, Rachel, Emeril, Bobby, Barefoot Contessa, Sandra Lee and many more...
Some you may already own, but there are more that I'll bet you don't.

We have cookbooks with recipes for quick meals, slow cooker meals and everything in between. There are books to help you whip up a feast for a hungry crowd, or this new book if you're cooking for one.

And here's a new book for those of you with a sweet tooth.

Have you ever borrowed a cookbook from the library? There are many reasons why you should!
  • Gives you a chance to look it over before purchasing it.
  • You may only want one or two recipes from it.
  • You buy cookbooks and just let them sit on your bookshelf taking up space.
  • You want to save a couple of bucks.
