This week we visited the elementary school to encourage students to continue reading over summer vacation and to join us for our summer program, "Catch the Reading Bug."
Our own Cheryl Blue entertained the kids with her energetic presentation of the fun things we have planned and along with a sneak peek of a silly storybook she plans to share at pajama story time, Beetle McGrady Eats Bugs, by Megan McDonald. Eewww! Gross!
So, will she eat one? Come to story time(s) to find out!We have lots of activities planned, including a live butterfly release on July 22. We'll also offer an old favorite - craft and snack times.
