Email Notifications

There are benefits to providing our library system with your email. Of course we would never, ever share it. Patrons receive email notifications when  materials they've place holds on become available for pick up and - my family favorite - reminders when checked-out materials will soon be due.
FYI...

Beginning this fall, our system will begin sending emails to our patrons, notifying them when their library card will expire, which happens once a year.  The message will read:
Our records indicate your library card is due to expire in 30 days. Please visit your local library at your convenience to renew your card in order to avoid a disruption in access to library service.
To avoid disruption of the convenient library services you enjoy from home using the OPAC, please be sure we have your current email address. Login in to view your account.

Summer Programs - Week 5

Monday, August 6 - Knitting Group, 6:00-8:00PM

Tuesday, August 7 - Pizza & Movie, 2:30 PM

License agreements prohibit us from sharing movie title and artwork/image here, so here is a "hint" to what we will be showing:

It is a 2010 computer-animated fantasy film by DreamWorks Animation loosely based on the English 2003 book of the same name. The film was directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, the duo who directed Disney's Lilo & Stitch. It stars the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and David Tennant.
The story takes place in a mythical Viking world where a young Viking teenager named Hiccup aspires to follow his tribe's tradition of becoming a dragon slayer. After finally capturing his first dragon, and with his chance at finally gaining the tribe's acceptance, he finds that he no longer has the desire to kill it and instead befriends it.
