Woman's Day Contest
The current economy has people talking and taking action to find solutions to shrinking wallets. Store counters might be a bit slow these days, but library counters everywhere are busy as people hope to stay informed and entertained without breaking the family budget.
Circulation of books and movies has increased. Computer users include students after school, seniors e-mailing family and friends, and - in another sign of the times - adults conducting job searches.
Has the library helped you?
"If the library has gotten you or your family out of a tough financial crunch, helping you save in unexpected ways, tell Woman's Day Magazine about it in an essay of 700 words or less. Up to four women’s stories will be featured in an upcoming issue of Woman’s Day."
