Summer Reading Comes to a Close
As our annual summer reading program wraps up I'd like to share a few images of just some of the fun we had:
The Marion library would like to especially thank M&T bank for their generous contribution to the library. Their donation to our summer reading program made it possible for us to offer more programs, prizes, books and snacks than ever, which was awesome!
There are also many wonderful volunteers who helped make our programs run seamlessly. Shout outs go to Kacey Sturtz and her Girl Scouts Troops #212 and #327, Andy Sippel, Paula Rinella Matt Royer and Lacey Gardner. Oh, and thank you, Cami & Martha. : ) We would never have managed without all of you!
Julie Rinella, Broderick Walker, Amanda Ebert, Brett Gunio, Stephanie Fisher and Laura Passmore generously shared their time and talents with the kids to provide fun and enriching programs.
Thank you to local businesses for generous donations of gift certificates for terriffic weekly prizes including, Marks Pizza, Kutz Salon, Our House Restaurant and PJ's Ice Cream.
Also, many thanks go to the patrons and families who generously donated sidewalk chalk and snacks to feed the little darlings at craft-n-snack. Thank you to Seneca Foods for the donation of Apple Chips.
As you can see, this has been a community effort. Well done, everyone!
